WHAT’S THIS PROGRAM ABOUT?

SAP PP (Production Planning) is a critical module within the SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system that helps organizations plan, manage, and execute their manufacturing and production processes.

• Prerequisites: While there are no strict prerequisites for learning SAP PP, a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with SAP navigation can be beneficial
• Hands-on Training Practical experience is crucial in SAP PP training. Students often work with real SAP software installations to gain hands-on experience in configuring and using the system for production planning and execution
• Module Structure: SAP PP is part of the SAP Logistics Execution System (LES) and is closely integrated with other SAP modules like Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM)

• Master Data in SAP S/4HANA PP: Material master data, Bill of materials (BOM), Work center master data, Routings
• Production Planning: Sales and operations planning (S&OP), Demand management, Material requirements planning (MRP), Capacity planning, Long-term planning, Rough-cut capacity planning
• Shop Floor Control: Production order management, Order release and order printing, Confirmation and goods movement, Production order settlement
• Advanced Planning: Product Cost Planning, Advanced Planning Methods, PP Master Data
• Reporting and Analytics: SAP S/4HANA PP reporting, Key performance indicators (KPIs) in production planning, Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics in PP
